The course is designed as a progressive journey that combines understanding and application:
1. Fundamentals of Gestalt and working with the chair: You will understand the theoretical and philosophical basis that gives meaning to these tools and how contact is the engine of change.
2. Unfinished business and the cycle of experience: You will learn how emotional blocks form, why they repeat themselves, and where the natural resolution process is interrupted.
3. The hot seat: Working with personal experience, you will discover how to accompany the person to come into direct contact with what they feel, without avoiding it or becoming overwhelmed.
4. The empty chair: dialogue with the other or with a part You will work on how to facilitate the encounter with figures from the past, internal parts in conflict or situations pending closure and with the inner child.
5. The four chairs: Dialogue with four chairs is more complex but very effective.
6. Safety in facilitation: You will learn to handle the emotional intensity that may arise, to open processes with sound judgment and to close them with care.
8. Practical application: You will integrate chair work into individual sessions and group dynamics, with specific tools for different types of processes.
9. Integration and professional use: You will learn how to incorporate these tools into your practice with consistency, ethics, and safety.
